Internet Television Streaming is where you go if your organisation is big, and you're thinking big with it.

We've Never Had a Corporate TV Channel Before - And I'm Interested
Here are the basic steps:
- You need to create an area of your intranet where your TV channel can be found.
- This will need designing for a prestigious television-like look, and for ergonomic usability
- There needs to be a user selection area. For example look at Sky Box Office. If you've used Sky Box Office then you'll know how easy it is to navigate and quickly find what you're looking for.
- You may well want your own video server in-house, but you can easily start by using an outsourced server on a rental basis.
- Create a short Intro To Our Corporate TV Channel video, and then stream this from a prominent location on your existing intranet. This will ensure everyone is alerted to the new channel, and can quickly find out what it's about and if it affects them
Also consider buying a cheap camera and PC edit suite. This way you can do short in-house webcasts of people in your company who need to address all or part of your workforce.
You'll need someone to be able to shoot and edit for you. Someone from HR can be trained up for this.
Importantly, don't be afraid of starting your own internet television channel. It's not rocket science!
