How Does A Video Go Over Budget?
We don't have any hard facts about the percentage of
corporate video productions that go over their original budget,
but we do hear so many stories from customers like you who
almost expect to go over budget as a matter of course. Needless
to say we are suitably appalled by this, and hope you are
too(!)
The reason
for going over budget is the same as it ever was. The problem
is the unforeseens that cannot be anticipated. You need a crystal
ball to know what lies ahead on a project. Nevertheless, to
help take the sting out of this, I just happen to have written
a new ebook entitled Learn How To Make A Corporate Video And
Save A Fortune Off Your Next Production. It's free and can
be downloaded from http://www.rossiterandco.com/videobook1.htm.
Take a click and see. If you've never read an ebook before,
well, it might just be the elevating experience you've been
waiting for. No, seriously, it does give you over 50 valuable
checklist points that are essential for successfully managing
any video production, and staying within budget. It will help
you predict what to anticipate and how to turn situations to
your advanatge. If you make video, and you probably do, you
can't afford to be without it. And most of all, there are no
strings attached to this offer. We do it because we love you.
Just download and enjoy!
HEALTH & SAFETY
Sainsbury's Safety Initiative
Sainsbury's are redeveloping their stores at the
rate of one a week or more. While this is great for business,
it exposes the staff in stores that are being refurbished
to a greater potential risk than normal.
Recognising
this, Steve Smith, Performance Development Mgr at Sainsbury's
Construction Division, decided to call us in to help him
produce a Staff Safety During Refurbishment programme which
is called Making Life Safer, a theme that is very much
in tune with Sainsbury's new slogan Making Life Taste Better.
Expect to hear more as the production develops.

Alfred McAlpine Fly Through
As part of their preparation for a major press briefing,
Wythenshawe Hospital and their PR Consultants Staniforth
asked main building contractor Alfred McAlpine to produce
an animated 3D fly-through video of the new hospital, which
is currently under construction. The programme is aimed at
providing attending press representatives with a clear idea
of how the completed hospital will look.
Working
closely with Vince Flynn of Interactive BMS, McAlpine's
graphics & 3D animation consultants, the 5 minute programme
was conceived, produced and delivered inside two weeks,
ready for the rehearsal. How's that for a record?!
